Well hey there…Welcome!

I’m a young visual artist living and working in Indianapolis. Visual artist? What does that mean? Let me explain..

I work, and have been trained and educated, in graphic design. Albeit “old school”, I love print design. It’s easily my favorite platform to work in. But by day (or should I say night, since I’m currently on 3rd shift), I currently work with web design aspects, mainly Flash, although a fair amount of work is done in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well. I have had the privilege of working at the Hendricks County Flyer (Graphic Artist), Traders Point Creamery (Creative Marketing Assistant) and Emens Auditorium (Graphic Design Intern) at my alma mater, Ball State University. I truly love the creativity that great design allows me to have. What can I say…I’m a right brain person!

My passion and love is in photography. I call myself a Lifestyle Photographer. Which means, essentially, that I capture life…as it happens. I rarely pose my clients or subjects (especially since some subjects just can’t be posed!). I love capturing people, nature and city life as you see it, as it is natural, and as you’ll remember it. Candid shots are truly the best!

And I like to dabble in other artsy areas, like painting and mixed media.
